I am frequently asked how I learned to make my boxes and how got started. It is no secret. My answer is “Hard Work” The author, Malcolm Gladwell, who wrote “Outliers”, believes that in order to become really good at something, it takes about 10,000 hours. I have no idea how many hours that I have spent making my boxes. I don’t know if I have passed the 10,000 hours mark or if I ever will.
I have added these early efforts to illustrate to everyone how basic my early efforts were. My message to all of you out there is if you are interested in getting involved with miniatures, give it a try and keep trying. Everyone must start somewhere. You will be surprised at how quickly you can improve your work.
